Ray Davies

Managing Director

Founder of the original partnership with his wife Lee in 1989 which was incorporated to the current Company some 5 years later. Significant practical experience in all facets of the Company’s business over a period of some 37 years. Holder of Commercial Builders Licence and Concrete Licence No. 65417 issued in 1992.

Paul Stevens

General Manager

Paul has 37 years experience in local government administration including as former CEO of Maclean Shire Council and Gold Coast City Council respectively. Paul commenced with Davbridge Constructions in September 2003.

Jim Downes

Construction Manager
B.ENG. (Civil), B. BUS MANAGEMENT

Jim joined Davbridge Constructions in May 2010 following a successful engineering career in civil construction involving bridges, concrete structures and high rise in both Australia and the UK. Jim’s employment as Construction Manager has added significantly to the Company’s capability portfolio.

Renee Hend

Accounts Manager

Joined Davbridge Constructions in January 2010 after being employed in an associate Company. Renee has long experience in administration and financial matters associated with civil construction.

Jim Sweeney

Project Manager
B.ENG. (Civil)

Jim’s strong experience is across a broad spectrum of civil and building construction. Jim commenced with the Company in January 2011 and has added much to the Company capability in project management and management systems.

Charlton Cauton

Project Manager
B. Sc. Eng.

Charlton commenced with the Company in November 2011 and has an excellent array of experience in civil and building construction. His capabilities in project management are prodigious and he adds much to Company capability.

Colin Wilson

Project Engineer/CQR
B.ENG. (Civil)

Originally from Ireland, Colin joined Davbridge Constructions in July 2010. His very good home country experience in both civils and commercial construction is being well employed in the Company as Project Engineer and Contractors Quality Representative.

Sean Gibson

Plant Manager

Sean joined the Company in November 2011 and brings an enormous plant management talent to the organisation.  His long experience has already bought about significant change to both the maintenance of heavy plant and its utilisation.

Daniel Watts

Diesel Fitter

Daniel commenced with the Company in the latter half of 2010. A young and highly qualified diesel fitter and mechanic, Daniel has added much to the operational readiness and productivity of the Company’s plant and machinery.

Shae Davies

Plant Operations

With the Company since 2008, Shae provides invaluable assistance in the Company’s plant and machinery operations. He also drives a pretty mean race car and is currently competing in Formula Ford National Championships.
